Well folks, after 6 weeks in Florida working a gig down there for a friend of mine I am back home. (Actually been home for a few weeks now) Since my return I’ve been hitting the gym pretty regularly and results so far is about 14-15 lbs lost and 4% body fat gone. I must say I am feeling much better than before with a tad more energy. I had the great fortune of meeting a fitness trainer @ LA Fitness named Neal Blasingame who’s knowledge has been very beneficial in both my weight lifting techniques as well as the referral to Max Fitness of Vancouver. Neal referred me to Max Muscle of Vancouver after we were talking about how sore I was getting after a good upper body lift, he suggested that I go to their store and talk to either Casey or Trevor. I drove over and while Casey wasn’t there, Trevor was. After speaking to Trevor, he suggested that I use their High5 protein shake and Amino suppliments right after working out. I was amazed at the difference this made to my after workout recovery.

Trevor also gave me an appointment to come in and get my free nutrition plan. They weighed me, checked my body fat percentage and designed a nutrition plan around how I exercise to incorporate a balanced caloric intake of 50% carbs, 30% protein and 20% fats. I must say, I was startled at how much food I am supposed to eat in a day and still be able to lose weight and gain lean muscle. While I’ve only been on this plan for the last few days, I haven’t lost any weight but I feel that I’ve gained more muscle and have more energy.
