So it’s been nearly a couple months now since I started my new life as a traveling Systems Engineer and realized that I haven’t posted on my blog for a while. I’m currently in Baltimore Maryland waiting for a 5+ hour flight to Las Vegas and then another 2 1/2 hour flight home for roughly a 9 hours of travel time. Since I’ve started working at this position, I’ve gone to New York City where yes I braved the subway. Afterwards I went to Loveland Colorado where the first few days were really nice in the upper 60′s and finished with cold and snow on the ground. After Denver I got to go to Oakland California for a short engagement but I was able to visit my brother Karl for a few days. The last two weeks I’ve been in Austin TX and then on to Baltimore. Austin was just flat out nice, the weather was gourgeous and warm and I had a good time there visiting my two bro’s Steve and Jerome before going on to Baltimore. Baltimore has been mostly wet and cold but I had a great time connecting with Howard and Penny on Monday night. Hopefully next time I come back this way I’ll be able to take Cyndi with me.

This biggest draw back from traveling (besides the obvious – traveling) is being away from my honey and the family. Being away for a short engagement isn’t bad, but being gone for 2 to 3 weeks in a stretch really makes me miss my Cyndi. Hopefully there won’t be too many of them in the future.
