Google and Verizon are chatting it up about speeding up how content to the Google owned ‘YouTube’ site and other applications owned by Google will be given a higher priority on the Verizon network.  As most are aware, the majority of the Google Droid phones run on the Verizon network.  This is definitely a move by the big players to side step the FCC and start moving forward to kill ‘Net Neutrality‘ where all traffic across the Internet is consider equal.  Comcast and other big ISPs have been battling hard to increase their profits by forcing users in to a ‘Tiered’ service market similar to cable / satellite television where they charge a higher premium to subscribers to ensure their traffic gets through.
